OBSESSED

Ok. Here's what you need to know right up front:

1. I love the look of lipstick; Dark, light, in-between and barely there.
2. I reeeeally like looking alive. 3. I HATE having to maintain a strong lip-color multiple times a day when I finally commit to one. Nobody got time for that.

Now that we're clear...you'll understand why these babies SPEAK MY LANGUAGE.
Revlon Colorburst Balmstains and Matte Balms are uh-mazing. Not only do they pack great pigment, but since they're stains, they last. No seriously. Like, REALLY last. I never thought that a big twist-up crayon from the drugstore could deposit such a great amount of color on my lips in such a gorgeous texture. Annnd in multiple formulas no less. (Matte v. Glossy) No gunk, no strings, no weird lines. And if that's not enough, they come in a bazillion different colors, making it nearly impossible to find one (or five) that don't look great on you. These are for everyone from the natural girl-on-the-go-look to the "look-at-my-lips-everyone!" Gaga-look.

When it comes to Matte v. Glossy, I'm always gonna go Team Matte. The formula isn't super-drying like a lot of matte-lipsticks so it looks pretty without that gross chalky texture. My only thumbs-down on the Gloss version is that it doesn't last quite as long. Regardless, they're both soft, easy to apply and last way longer than most stains.

Tip:  Scared of too much color? (First of all, don't be. A good lipstick is a game-changer, a day-changer...a life-changer....you trackin?) These Balmstains allow you to control how much or how little color you actually want. Start minimal by applying color to your top lip only. Follow your full top lip-line with a heavy emphasis on "the bow." Once you've got it covered, rub your lips together and your stain is even more....."stainy"... without excessive color. This is a great way to add in a new lip-color for anyone who's hesitant about going too dramatic, too soon.

To say I'm obsessed with these is a gross understatement. In fact, if I'm buying you any sort of cosmetic gift in the next few months, chances are, one or more of these bad boys will be included.

Your welcome.
