Doing Life Well #livingto100

Today I learned that 835 people move to L.A. each day.  L.A. is my city.  I wonder how many people move to your city?  Such an interesting thought on people and life and doing life well.   I learned this little fact at a nerdy technology entrepreneur conference.  Yes, nerd alert.  Nerds do in fact change the planet.

I also learned a few key things about people from all over the world who lived past 100 years of age.

These were their similarities:

-Each had a sense of purpose

-Each found a way to let go of stress

-Each never felt “full”

-Each focused on plant based diets

-Each put family first

-Each did life with a tribe of people; cultivated had community

-Each had faith as a pillar of their life

-Each drank wine regularly after 5 pm

-Each found a way to live in love

-Each believed in miracles

Yes. Miracles. Love every inch of that statement.

Take it for what you will, but I thought it was brill.

One more thought of the day:

"Good Management consists of showing average people how to do the work of superior people."

-John D. Rockefeller

So lets do this life well.
