Possibly one of the best things to hear. A little planning at night can do a world of difference in cutting time out of a morning routine. While you sleep, breakfast is being made in the refrigerator with this overnight oatmeal recipe. Talk about a lifesaver! Add your favorite fruit, some granola or a nut butter to give this easy meal some variation everymorning.


  • Steel Cut Oats
  • Choice of Liquid: Almond Milk, Soy Milk, Coconut Milk
  • Choice of Sweetener: Agave, Honey, Jam, Maple Syrup, Cinnamon, Vanilla
  • Choice of Toppings: Nut Butter, Fruit, Chia Seeds, Coconut, Jam


  • Soak 1 part oats with 1 part liquid
  • Add sweetener
  • Mix together in a jar
  • Let the jar sit in the refrigerator overnight
  • Add toppings
  • Eat and enjoy!
