The cause

My primary purpose for starting this site is to empower women. To empower YOU.  I want you to know where your identity lies, how much you are worth. I want you to look beautiful, feel beautiful, KNOW you are beautiful. I want to help you be confident in your own skin; I want to let you know that everyone has insecurities- myself included. I want you to know that you are not alone, and that by allowing yourself to be a part of something bigger, you can cease to solely exist and start to live.

It seemed crazy to willingly 'put myself out there' for so many reasons. When you give people access to your life you are bound to receive criticism you didn't ask for, to be looked at under a microscope and to be picked apart in a way that is somewhat uncomfortable. It's vulnerable and intimidating. Yet, weighing those things up, I finally decided that I do want to step out and let people in. I don't want to be ‘put in a box’ because I believe there is no such thing. I don't want to silently disagree with the fact that we should live safe lives, not taking a leap of faith, not taking risks, and not feeling comfortable to be ourselves. I want to inspire women to come along on this journey - to be themselves, accept ourselves, love ourselves and be comfortable with the fact that we are all on this earth for different yet uniquely important purposes.

Here you will find everything from photos, to beauty finds, to shopping cravings, to real life conversations about everyday things.  Some more ‘eternally significant’ than others – but nonetheless, this is my life. These are the things I love and the people I love.  It’s a small glimpse into our world and we’re opening it up for you.  Please treat it like that – a ‘small glimpse’.

I want you to know that it's ok to take care of the exterior as long as your values remain secure. That it's ok to strive for success as long you keep the integrity of your heart. Making your end goal that of power, money and fame - although appealing - is empty in itself.  I want women to understand that it's ok to think you are beautiful, capable and have immeasurable worth without having a sense of arrogance and pride. 'Humility does not mean thinking less of yourself than other people, nor does it mean having a low opinion of your own gifts. It means freedom from thinking about yourself at all.'

I encourage, fully support and want to see a generation of strong girls and women rise up in unity, strength, morale, and beauty. I want to see women fulfill and find joy in every role they play as friends, colleagues, entrepreneurs, mothers, daughters and wives. To honor God and people. To place value on humanity. To give a voice to those who can't speak for themselves, and to have fun along the way, enjoying this GIFT of life
